Six collections that give their work away — openverse, wikimedia commons, the met, the art institute of chicago, nasa and poly haven — searched from one field. Every request on this page is made by your browser, straight to the source: patchfields keeps no copy, runs no proxy, and never sees a file. To use one, copy its link and paste it into the editor's assets panel under + a link….

— off shows CC BY and BY-SA too, each one marked

Powered by Poly Haven. Textures, panoramas and models on this page come from polyhaven.com, CC0 throughout.

A licence shown here is the one the source states. Aggregators do carry the odd wrong tag, so for anything you publish, follow source ↗ and read it at the origin — that page, not this one, is the record.

Not listed, and why: freesound originals need a per-user oauth handshake, so no page can fetch them on your behalf; the smithsonian needs an api key, and a key in a page is a key given away; ambientCG and project gutenberg send no CORS header, so a browser is not allowed to read their answers; pexels, pixabay and unsplash are not public domain at all.
